Also sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the Morgan County Youth Leadership Program is essentially a leadership and civic-development program for local high-school students, designed to give young people a firsthand look at their community and encourage them to become future leaders.

Designed for high-school juniors, participants learn about government, agriculture, education and the community, visit local organizations, attend government meetings, travel to the Tennessee Legislature in Nashville, complete community service hours, and work on a community service project.
